Adagaki Aki[]
When Kanetsugu came to Aki's house, she introduced herself, and she asked Masamune if he was Aki's childhood friend. Aki believes that she was Masamune, because her appearance was similar to Masamune when he was younger. Aki still believes if Kanetsugu is her childhood friend until Kanetsugu invited her to amusement park after school. Kanetsugu still pretends to be her childhood friend, but unfortunately Masamune came and revealed that he's the one childhood friend she was referring to. Masamune brings his old picture when they were children to prove Aki that he was the one, not Kanetsugu. Aki then gets dissapointed because Kanetsugu pretended to be her childhood friend. Kanetsugu tells Aki to choose one of them. Aki didn't choose Kantesugu, nor Masamune, running away from the amusement park as a result.
Masamune Makabe[]
Kanetsugu said in front of Masamune if he's her real childhood friend, making Masamune angry, then Kanetsugu challenged Masamune to dance at the Culture Festival, Masamune accepts the challenge. Masamune then gets help from Yoshino, in order to make Kanetsugu get far away from the festival and lock him at the school storage. At the final moment when Masamune is at the stage, Masamune forces himself to kiss Aki, despite his health being in a bad state, thus proving to Aki that he loves her with a burning passion.
