"Face Your Feelings" is the eleventh episode of the second season of the Masamune-kun's Revenge R anime. It was released on September 11, 2023.

Summary

Masamune has had a series of absences from school, so Yoshino decides to check in on him after school. Chinatsu reveals that he's left and is staying with their grandfather in Shinsu.

Plot

After Aki breaks up with Masamune, he stops going to school. His friends start to wonder if he is okay as he isn't even responding to their messages. They see Aki and asks her if Masamune is sick, since he has been missing for four days, but Aki isn't aware of it and explains that they broke up. Yoshino is surprised and decides to go to Masamune's house after school and Tae, Kojuro and Neko also decides to go.

At Masamune's place, no one answers. Kojuro is then worried what they will do with all the puddings they brought and hearing about pudding, Chinatsu quickly comes out excited. After they eat the puddings, Neko wonders if something has happened. Chinatsu then leads them to Masamune's room, where Kinue is crying for Masamune leaving her. Chinatsu explains that Masamune went to their grandpa's place in Shinshu and took all his stuff. Masamune had left after his date with Aki, and his friends wonder if he ran away due to her giving him a bad nickname. Chinatsu also explains that Masamune no longer listens to them and they can't contact him, but if she learns something, she will tell them.

After that, Yoshino blames Neko, stating its her fault since she got into Aki's head, even though Masamune won't ever be with her. Neko slaps Yoshino and asks her if her actions aren't deceitful. She knows Masamune's feelings and yet she ignored him and sent Aki after him, and just to protect herself, she lied about her own feelings. Neko states that no one cares about Yoshino or Aki's past and that Yoshino is a coward. She then cries and states that she has nothing. Aki shows up and tells them to stop fighting and asks Tae to help Neko get home. Aki then wishes to speak with Yoshino alone.

At his grandfather's place, Masamune cleans some leafs and then burns them. He recalls that he used to come here when he was upset, although right now he has no one to hate. His grandfather then shows up, having found out the White Day gift and reminds Masamune that he can't bring snacks at this place. Masamune apologizes and throws the gift into the fire.

Aki tells Yoshino that they have never had a proper talk due to their families status. She thanks Yoshino, since she had done so much for her. Aki explains that she relied so much on Yoshino that she threw her own feelings, even though she likes Masamune. Yoshino cries and states that she just wishes for Aki to be happy, however Aki states that she shouldn't worry about it. Yoshino explains that she did something horrible and tried to make up for it a bit, but as she spend time with Masamune, she ended up liking him. Aki then tells Yoshino that she has one last request for her, Yoshino should go and tell Masamune how she feels. Crying, Yoshino accepts and leaves.

Tae takes Neko to karaoke, explaining that the girls way to heal a broken heart is overeating and karaoke. Tae states that Neko should also look at other boys too, like Kojuro. Even though she ships Masamune x Kojuro, she is fine if she gives Kojuro to Neko.

Chinatsu gives Yoshino her grandfather's address and Yoshino gets on the train. On her way, she thinks of Masamune. She tried to pretend that her feelings doesn't exist, but was hurt when Aki and Masamune where together. When Masamune told her that he had the most fun while devising his plan with her, she also had a lot of fun, but couldn't tell him that.

Masamune sees his young self training, wanting to get revenge on Aki. Masamune tells him that Aki isn't his enemy and the enemy has already been defeated. He explains that he has no enemies and his young self shouldn't worry about it as they will be okay. His young self feel this as weird, but leaves and continues to train. Moments later, Masamune sees Yoshino coming out of the wood and runs to him and hugs him. Yoshino then kisses him.
