"The Wee Parisian Mademoiselle"" is the first episode of the second season of the Masamune-kun's Revenge R anime. It was released on July 3, 2023.

Summary

Masamune and Aki's class goes to France for their school trip and there, they meet an aspiring manga artist named Muriel.

Plot

Masamune wakes up excited to head to France for his school trip, where he plans on finishing his plan and exact his revenge. Chinatsu enters his room and sees that he is still full of himself, and tells him to control himself and not embarrass all of Japan while he is in France. Kinue also enters his room, explaining that she prepared big breakfast, but hearing all about it, Masamune doesn't really want to eat such high calorie breakfast.

Muriel receives a message from her brother about the art piece she send him and he tells her that that its a masterpiece, but she should learn more about Japanese high school students. She finds that hard to do as Japan is quite far away.

Masamune and his class are touring around Paris and seeing couples kissing, Masamune feels this is the perfect place to make Aki fall for him and dump her. Aki then tells Masamune that she wants to properly talk with him while they have free periods on the trip. Masamune wonders what she means, but ends up bumping into Muriel. Masamune tries to apologize and upon realizing that he is Japanese, Muriel gets quite happy, stating she has been looking for him. She introduces herself to Masamune and Aki, and explains that she learned Japanese from anime and manga, and hopes to one day be able to draw manga like that. She then shows them her manga, a rom-com about Tsumire who lives in Tokyo. Masamune and Aki find the manga strange, especially since the main characters are called Tsumire and Chikuwa. Muriel shares that her brother told her that she needs to learn more about Japanese high school students, and seeing Masamune, she though he was her "Chikuwa" and wishes to use him as a model for her manga. Masamune denies it, explaining that they are on a trip and the little free time he has, he will spend with Aki. Muriel is disappointed, but accepts his reasons.

Masamune and Aki join the rest of the class at the art museum. Feeling quite tired, the two feel they are safe now and that they almost died. The two explain that after leaving Muriel, they bumped into some men in black suits. The men then take them to a more private place in a tunnel. Masamune and Aki get scared as they can't speak French. One of the men then brings out a phone on which Frank Besson introduces himself to the "3D Chikuwa". Frank explains that he is the older brother of Muriel and is right now in Tokyo. Frank questions him on why he rejected Muriel, as making her cry is the worst sin he can commit, while disappointing her is the second-worst sin. Frank tells Masamune that if he wants to stay with Aki, then the two can teach Muriel the essence of rom-com.

Masamune explains to Yoshino, that when he has free time, he needs to spend it with Aki and Muriel. He apologizes to Yoshino as he feels everything is ruined despite she setting it all up for him. However Yoshino wonders what she did. Masamune then explains that he though Aki only invited him to talk with him because of Yoshino, but Yoshino denies being involved with that. Yoshino is happy that Aki is proactive on and tells Masamune that she will help him, so that no one gets in his way.

Back at the hotel room, Kanetsugu plans on proceeding with his "fishing" plan and gaining money to preserve the Gasu name and status, by using Aki's love.

The next day, both Masamune and Aki feel tired as they couldn't sleep well. The two then head out to meet with Muriel. They go in the park where Masamune looks at Muriel's manga again. He points out that the male main character asked the female main character out three panels ago and they are now in love and dating. As he had read a lot of rom-com manga, he states that once the two characters fall for each other, 80% of the story is done, so instead, she needs to tease their romance as much as she can. Muriel doesn't understand it as if they like each other, they should tell each other about it. She demonstrates it, grabbing Masamune's head and stating they can even kiss. Right before she kisses Masamune, Aki jumps in between them and separates them, stating that unlike the French, the Japanese can't easily tell someone their feelings. Masamune adds that things from the past can also prevent them from confessing. Muriel wonders if they are talking about themselves. Masamune and Aki are caught off guard and act weird denying it. Aki tells Muriel that she needs to learn the Japanese form of love and she and Masamune, will show her how things are done as characters in a rom-com. However after that Aki blushes and the two with Masamune wonder of what exactly they should show her.

Kojuro, Neko and Tae are enjoying some dessert. Neko points out that Masamune would likely enjoy the level of sweetness the dessert has. Tae asks her if she still likes Masamune, but Neko states it would be pathetic after he rejected her. However, she sometimes thinks of what it could have been if the met differently and if there wasn't a lie. Kojuro can't gather enough courage to confess and only states that Neko is quite profound. Kojuro sees Kanetsugu and Yoshino outside the window, but feels he is seeing things.

Yoshino is taking Kanetsugu somewhere, trying to keep him busy until Aki and Masamune free time is over, by stating that Aki wanted to tell Kanetsugu something personally. Since Yoshino keeps apologizing, Kanetsugu feels that she is hiding something. Yoshino then states he lied about Aki, and that she just wanted to spend as much time as she could with Kanetsugu. However, Kanetsugu states he won't fall for it and shows a picture of Yoshino and Masamune, when she agrees to help out Masamune.
